From the pickup to the desk on one balanced cable.
Your bass or keyboard sounds right through your own amp. Out front, the engineer still needs a clean feed for the mix. The DN100 sits between the two. It sends your instrument to the mixer or recording interface over a balanced XLR cable.
Keep your amp, feed the mixer
Plug an instrument or line-level source into the ¼" TRS or XLR input. The other ¼" connector works as a link-through to your amplifier. When only the XLR input is used, an impedance of 20 kΩ suits line-level sources. Otherwise a nominal 1 MΩ suits instrument pickups.

Two switches for hot signals and hum
Press PAD to reduce the input signal by 20 dB for hot sources. With the pad enabled, the maximum input level is 35 dBu. Press EARTH to separate the input and output grounds. This can remove earth loops between equipment on different mains supplies.

Runs on phantom power
The DN100 is powered by +48 V phantom, and it must be powered to operate correctly. The 48 V LED lights when it receives enough. Frequency response is 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ±1 dB into a 10 kΩ load, and it weighs 0.44 kg.
