1. Ensure the DN9340 unit is powered down and the communication lead is connected to the PC Port on the unit.

2. Double click on the "KTG Program Manager" icon to start the program. Or use the 'Browse' option to find the location of "ktgpm.exe." The KTGPM window will now be displayed giving you the options of the following: File Device Help.

3. Select the Device Menu followed by the Program Menu option. The 'KTGPM Program window' will be displayed prompting you to enter the location of the file that is to be loaded into the unit.

4. Select the program file you wish to load into the unit. In this case "DN9340.hst".

5. Click on the Program button. The KTGPM Program window will now display:
Opening COM Port... OK
Opening Device Program File... OK
Waiting for device:
If these messages don't appear in the window check that the correct cable connections are
made between the PC and DN9340 unit.

6. Power up the DN9340 unit. The following gives an example of the messages that will now be
displayed:
Opening COM Port... OK
Opening Device Program File... OK
Waiting for device: KT Bootstrap Revision: 1.00
Copyright (c) 1999 Klark Teknik (UK) Plc
Release Date: May 01 2000 @ 11:07:12 Device
Detected OK
Erasing Flash... Transmitting File:

7. The screen will then display ".." while the unit is being programmed. When this has completed the following will be displayed:
File sent OK Device is reprogramming itself
The DN9340 unit will re-set itself and the download process is now complete.

8. Power down the DN9340 unit, after reapplying power to the unit the following will appear on the KTGPM window:
File sent OK
Device is reprogramming itself
KT Bootstrap Revision: 1.00
Copyright (c) 1999 Klark Teknik (UK) Plc
Release Date: May 01 2000 @ 11:07:12
Followed by an Operation Finished window confirming that the Device ReProgram has completed OK.

9. Select OK and the KTGPM software can be closed down.

1. The procedure for calibrating the touch strip is as follows:

2. Power up the unit with the HOME(SETUP) key pressed.

3. Using the HOME key step through the test menu to the "Touch Test -,CAL,-" menu.

4. Turn the Middle encoder to display "Touch correct Fader"

5. Press the touch strip which corresponds to the highlighted fader.

6. Keep the touch strip pressed until the Fader is un-highlighted, then release.

7. Continue this until the menu returns to "Touch Test -,CAL,-"

8. The touch strip is now calibrated.

9. Step through the test menu to the "Reboot <yes>,-,-" and turn the left encoder or power down the
unit.
