What is it, and why do I need it?
The Host Code is the control programme that runs inside the DN9824 equaliser. Generally, it is strongly recommended, to use the latest version of the firmware.
This section describes how to send firmware to the unit.
Your User presets will not be erased !
Connect your PC with the unit via RS232.
Start the PC-Editor.
Select 'Remote' menu, select 'Send firmware to unit' and choose 'RS232' in the additional menu that will pop up.
The editor will display the list of firmware files in the 'OS' directory.
Choose the appropriate firmware file (e.g. DN9824 1.03.hex) by double clicking it and follow the messages that will appear on the screen.
