What is it, and why do I need it?

The DN8000 Memory Capture program is a utility which allows all the memories of a DN8000 Loudspeaker Processor to be uploaded to a computer and then stored. Once captured by the computer, the memory data can be stored as a file on the PC, and then loaded back into a DN8000 unit. This provides a simple mechanism for cloning units as well as a backup utility to make safe copies of the DN8000 memories. It replaces the ability to copy settings directly between units which was discontinued on software version 2.0 or newer.

Note: The factory presets on the DN8000 are contained in EPROMs and are therefore not accessible to this program - it only operates on user memories. Note also that it only works with units that have software version 2.0 or newer. The current software release is V2.01. If you wish to upgrade earlier units to V2.01 (strongly recommended) then please contact Klark Teknik to arrange an EPROM exchange.

Version 1.01 is operationaly identical to the previous version (1.0), but now works correctly with non-English installations of Windows.
