TELEX COMMUNICATIONS PRO AUDIO GROUP WELCOMES NEW ONTARIO SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Thomas Hansen, Vice President, Pro Audio Group (PAG) Sales of Telex Communications Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of John McArthur of Lebanna Solutions, Inc. as the new Ontario Sales Representative for the firm, effective June 1, 2006. McArthur will be responsible for expanding the Telex PAG brands (Electro-Voice, Midas, Klark Teknik and Blue) in the Canadian professional audio market segments.

McArthur replaces Greg Hansen who represented the Telex Pro Audio Group brands in Ontario for the past four years.

"John’s drive, enthusiasm and knowledge of the industry will be a tremendous asset to Telex Pro Audio Group’s expansion efforts in Ontario," said Franck Fabry, Director of Americas Export Sales. "He has been involved in many different types of installations, from school theatres to major venues, hospitality locations to houses of worship and stadiums. His integrity, character and hard work have earned him the trust of the industry. We are delighted he accepted the position of Ontario Sales Representative."

McArthur started his career as a Production Assistant at The Ontario Place Forum, Toronto, where he then became Assistant Stage Manager. He later moved on to be Production Director at CJCH (CHUM Radio) in Halifax, CKFM in Toronto (where he won several RBC nominations and awards) and CHUM AM & FM in Toronto where he won the prestigious CLIO Award. After selling his successful voice casting business and commercial production company, McArthur accepted a position with William F. White Ltd., in Toronto, to develop audio product sales in that market. Following several years in that position, McArthur was lured to the wholesale side of the Professional Audio business where he has resided for more than a decade and held similar field sales representative positions.
