DN9331 RapidE Graphics Controller Host Code V4.08

What is it, and why do I need it?

The DN9331 RapidE unit is the networking centre of the Show Command System incorporating an eight external port Ethernet hub.
This version upgrades V4.00 (Used with Helix systems only) and Version 4.07 (Used with PRO6 and XL8).

Note: the Elgar Library Manager Shell V2.64 is required to update the RapidE – please download version 2.64 of the Elgar Library Manager Shell from the link at the bottom of this page.

Additional Features:

  • MultiMaster support for helix E-units: You may now use a DN9340E unit in master mode along with DN9344E slaves at the same time as controlling the system from a RapidE; please see the MultiMaster Quick Start Guide for instructions on the use of this mode.
  • Support for improved ME-light behaviour: Helix units now support improved ME-light operation when using a RapidE in Group or Global mode, enabling the ME-light to be lit on every unit currently under control of the RapidE’s faders.
  • DN27 EQ type renamed to DN370
  • EQ Level and Frequency display: The RapidE now shows the EQ frequency and level when a channel is selected to match the display on the DN9340
  • Fader centre detents added: The user may now enable fader centre detents via the setup menu. The detents extend 0.25dB either side of the calibrated 0dB position
  • Helix, XL8 and Pro6 digital consoles now supported with a single RapidE application: This removes the requirement to have separate software builds for Helix PRO6 and XL8 console – the RapidE can now simply be connected to either console and only the RapidE channel configuration need be adapted (if necessary)

Additional Features:
Version 4.00 contains many, many usability enhancements and features. For full details of the unit operation under version 4 please refer to the Version 4 User Manual.
